Who is Helping South Dakota's Unemployment Insurance System?

"U.S. Sen. Tim Johnson says the federal Labor Department has approved nearly $11.8 million to help South Dakota's unemployment insurance system. The South Dakota Democrat says the state qualified for the remaining two-thirds of its share of federal stimulus money by enabling certain part-time workers to be eligible for unemployment insurance benefits and by providing additional weeks of benefits to people enrolled in training or education programs. State Labor Secretary Hilda Solis says the economic recovery is gaining momentum, but many workers still face a challenging job market."
