New health insurance plans being adopted by major insurance companies in the U.S. are coming with cheaper premiums, but will restrict the choice of doctors and hospitals patients can go to. Health insurance companies are approving a new plan that will lead to premiums that are 15% cheaper than current premium rates for many consumers. This is all part of the new health care plan put together by President Barack Obama and his administration. The good news out of all of this is the fact that users will soon be able to pay less than they are currently paying. The catch here though is that if you want to pick your own doctor or hospital, you are going to have to pay more to have that ability. If not, what you are going to be doing is picking from a restricted and highly-specific list of doctors and hospitals. These new plans are expected to be fully rolled out by the year 2014. This will lead to more affordability, but will restrict choice of patients overall.
